To hang picture frames using painter's tape, follow these steps:
- Lay the picture on a soft surface and stretch the painter's tape across the hangers, marking the center of each hanger on the tape.
- Then, use another piece of tape to mark the desired position of the picture on the wall.
- Remove the tape from the picture, fold it in half to find the center point, and align this point with the center of the wall.
- Adjust the tape with a level, attach fasteners above the marks on the tape, remove the tape, and hang the picture.
- Alternatively, for items without hangers, apply tape to the back, mark the keyhole or hook location, stick the tape on the wall, adjust with a level, drill or nail the holes on the marked spots, remove the tape, and hang the item.
